Preparing a Button Down for Shirt Ironing - Spary Sizing vs Spray Starch

Before you begain ironing, check the shirt fabric label inside the neck collar. Note the shirt ironing instructions or the shirt fabric label care symbols.

Set the iron on steam and set heating temperature on the dail. If the iron board padding is to thin, spread a large bath towel on top.

Unbutton the shirt front, sleeves and collar. Pull sleeves inside out and you're ready for shirt ironing.

1. Spread shirt right panel face up. Apply "Spray Sizing" before you iron. Test iron heat on tail end. Move the iron slowly up and down. Don't stop the iron on the shirt.	2. Rotate the shirt forward and lift the collar part and iron the exposed yoke and then work your way up and down the shirt back half, back stroking at the yoke.
3. Rotate the shirt forward, lift the top, iron the yoke other half, and then the back . Keep the shirt smooth out at all times	4. Move the shirt forward and iron the left panel. Carefully iron the placket, around and over the buttons.
5. Pull the sleeves right side out and iron the cuffs, cuff plackets and buttons first. Repeat the process for the next sleeve.	6. Turn the shirt over and iron just the collar on the inside. Pay attention to seams and creases.
7. Fip the shirt over and fold back the collar. Take care and crease the collar.	8. Place the shirt on a hanger and button the two top buttons. Bingo! You're done.
